D1 Milano, the daringly designed Italian watches

Founded in 2013, D1 Milano manufactures iconic watches of typical Italian richness and minimalism. The company was born from the dream of a graduating student from Bocconi University in Milan. The young Dario Spallone, at the age of 21, with the help of his sister and a couple of friends, he started producing 200 watches a year. Faced with the ever-increasing demand for new models, he decided to involve experts in the fashion and watchmaking industries, in search for the perfect mix between the two.

The success of the D1 Milano watches revolves around three key elements: Italian design, quality materials and simple, yet accurate details. D1 Milano possesses all the aesthetic qualities of niche watchmaking at a decidedly competitive and affordable price. Today, Dario is still unbelieving about his success: he sells over 60,000 watches a year in 18 countries around the world.
